Your Responsibilities
At Meister, we can only make software that teams love to use if our own systems work as well. As our new IT Administrator, you’ll keep everyone at Meister connected to the IT resources they need. But safety first: you’ll ensure that security policies are implemented and monitored too.
On a day-to-day level, you’ll manage our IT helpdesk and office network, install and configure new hardware, track assets and software licenses, and research new technologies to keep Meister at the cutting edge of tech. An IT Admin job that’s just the ticket? Apply today!
What Makes You Special
  • 4+ Years of Experience: You have substantial experience as an IT Administrator or similar role, managing complex IT environments effectively.
  • Operating Systems Expertise: You are proficient in macOS, Windows, and have advanced knowledge of Linux, ensuring all operating systems are well-managed and up-to-date.
  • Networking Know-How: You’re skilled in configuring and maintaining office networks and WiFi, with hands-on experience in debugging network issues. Familiarity with UniFi devices is a plus.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): You excel in implementing and managing MDM solutions across various platforms (macOS, Windows, Android, iOS, Linux), focusing on security, compliance, and automation, particularly in onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • IT Management Proficiency: You manage users through Google Workspace, automate critical processes, and maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and network devices. Your expertise in IT Asset Management and IT Software License Management enhances efficiency through automation.
  • Basic Scripting Knowledge: You write shell scripts for macOS and PowerShell/BAT scripts for Windows, automating tasks to reduce manual work and boost productivity.
  • Hardware Mastery: You manage meeting room technology, order new equipment, and maintain an accurate hardware inventory, ensuring all devices are effectively tracked and ready for use.
  • Team Support: You provide exceptional support to employees, resolving daily IT issues and managing access to internal tools.
  • Security Compliance Expertise: You maintain and improve security policies, aligning with ISO 27001 standards, and support continuous improvement of our security posture.
  • Research and Continuous Improvement: You identify and implement improvements within IT infrastructure, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Language Skills: You have excellent English communication skills, with fluency in German as a strong advantage.
