Your Responsibilities

Builders wanted! As our newest Senior Front-End Engineer you'll contribute to our efforts of bringing the Meister products ever closer together and lay the foundation for a product ecosystem. You'll join a motivated team that is aiming to centralize user work and take cross-product usage to the next level. Together, you'll set the stage for our future growth.

Our applications are highly localized, supporting multiple languages and utilize GraphQL and REST for APIs. You'll guide us through the journey of transitioning to TypeScript and improve our stack along the way. As an influencer across teams, you'll unify our Front-End guild and become a driver of excellence. Are you passionate about solving complex challenges? Then look no further!

What Makes You Special

Real-Life Experience: You have around 10 years of experience in building user-facing applications.
Front-End Credentials: You know your way around Typescript and at least one modern SPA framework (e.g., React, Preact, Vue). Proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is under your belt too.
Full-Stack Expertise: You're passion doesn't stop at the Front-End: you have good skills in Back-End engineering too, with hands-on experience across various stacks and DBMSs.
Infrastructure pro. You can back up your engineering game with strong skills in IT infrastructure and DevOps, using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
End-to-End Ownership: You can confidently manage the entire development lifecycle with a solid understanding of Back-End, Front-End, DevOps, QA and Security.
Stakeholder Management: You excel at gathering requirements from various departments and thrive in wearing many hats.
Curiosity and Innovation. You have a knack for thinking outside the box and engage in sparing sessions with Product and Design to shape the core functionality of a product ecosystem.
Communication Skills. Your effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers, convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Mentor and Coach. You're enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and seeing other people grow.
Team Player. You embrace asynchronous communication and enjoy working in a geographically distributed team.
